HOW DOES IT WORK?
BEMER’s therapy is a PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic frequency) system. This electromagnetic stimulation is not invasive, it is subtle and relaxing, and unlike many other PEMF units - doesn't deliver such drastic or body-jarring stimulations. BEMER is drug-free and safe to use. NERD STUFF!
Stimulation of healthy muscles with the BEMER signal can support healing, blood circulation and muscle conditioning, which may lead to more vitality and energy.
More blood and circulation brings more oxygen, nutrients, chemical messengers (e.g., hormones) and immune cells - everything transported through our blood.

Why Do We Like It?
After about 5-10 minutes of use, we see a noticeable difference in relaxation and calmness in most horses. And as you know, horses don't lie.... and we love seeing this in yearlings to broke horses. We often use it and do a little training at the same time - handling ears, feet, stretches...
After a session (usually 30 min), and used pre-ride... we notice a significantly more warmed up horse, equivalent to a ~10 minute riding session. Horses are relaxed, muscles warmed up, more focused, and ready to work! On the opposite end - if you've had a long/hard ride, we love it for improving recovery and reducing muscle soreness (on us and our horses!)

Pre - Ride
We love it for giving horses that pre-ride warm up! Without rigorous physical longing or riding, we find that using the BEMER pre-ride is like a ten minute warm up. Their minds relax, they quiet, and their muscles and tendons have more blood-flow and are ready to ride! This increased blood-flow should also decrease injuries and help horses recover due to removing toxins like lactic acid that can sit around and make them (and us) muscle sore after exertion.
